LaSt Day of Class Party Photos

One of the best parties...because I didn't have to take pictures and I got a chance to relax. Had fun with you all this year. Next year hopefully...well I shall be taking Knoxarazzi to another level since my major is now in line with my interests.

Mwuah and...the music may be conflicting from the two slides...just press the speaker button at the top of the slide show beside the words "slide" in the upper left hand corner.

AND the question was asked: Where did you get your shirt? I believe in stimulating the economy so it came from Steve & Barry's on Chapman Highway by the Taco Bell..by the Rush Fitness center. They're going out of business soooo you might wanna hurry and get one if you really want one!

Product Showcase: Ipod Touch

It's not new I know, BUT I'm in love with mine and before you get yourself an MP3 player for Christmas, a suck-as one....STOP.

Get one of these!

Mines cost like...$250 or $280...it's 8GB, and usually I regret large unneccesary purchases BUT buying an IPod Touch was one of the BEST DECISIONS 2008

It's the next best thing to an IPhone but Cingular or AT&T whatever they are, SUCK and Verizon IS THE NETWORK, so I got this instead.

My favorite features?

1. It's slim.
Ok it's not small like a regular Ipod but for everything it does it's pretty compact and sexy and if I didn't pay so much for it and the case it stays in I'd put it naked in my back pocket. Might snap in half when I sit down but it fits!
2. Touch Screen
Just so futuristic! That doesn't look like I spelled it right. Oh well
3. Plays Music without the headphones
Not wanging but I can jam in the dressing room while trying on clothes.
4. You Can Surf the Internet On It
Not halfas either. Like real to like facebook, myspace, bank of america, knoxarazzi, tmail, utk.edu. AND you don't even have to pay for it, AS LONG AS THERE IS FREE WI-FI.
UTK is a wireless campus so...BAM it's hot. And you're paying for the internet on your phone! The devil naw!
5. Great Applications!
My favorites that come standard....
YOUTUBE (so I can trip off this girl falling off the coffee table any time and anywhere)
Safari (the web browser)
Contacts (Address, telephone number keeper)
MAPS (You can get directions from where you are to where you want to go. Automatically detects your location so if you don't know the address of where you're standing IT KNOWS and it'll get you outta dodge. AND it has Google Maps.. don't know what that is? Look it up. You're already online)
Calculator (it's a good one too! Flip the Touch sideways and it turns into a FULL SCIENTIFIC JUNT!)
NOTES (I take sermon notes on this. So convient!)
AND THERE IS THE APP STORE which has Apps you can pay for but a lot of cool free ones also.
I got the Bible, iBowl, Style.com, Pandora, Urbanspoon, still looking for more.
But right now real get over on the system...Pandora. That's the app right there. It's a music application where you can look up artists and they'll play a station with their music and people who sound like them. It's free. Don't have to pay Itunes any money to download any music.
And of course it holds music, videos, MOVIES, podcasts, pictures, etc etc.
It's just an amazing device. If you want a camera and phone attached I say get the Iphone. I'm really tempted to get one myself but...I don't really need that and AT&T sucks. soooo I'm straight!
Do the right thing. If you're going to do it...DO IT BIG. IPOD TOUCH. Make it your Best Decision 2008-2009

Bon Voyage!

Hope everyone has a BLESSED Thanksgiving Break. Remember what the holiday is about...well not the real meaning of the spread of imperalism and the take over of a nation....REMEMBER THAT but don't dwell on it.

GIVE THANKS! Everything is coming full circle. LOL.

Yall have fun eat a lot. Work out twice as much and....be prepared for finals if you still got some. I don't! Whoop Whoop. Wait...I got one. Shoot!

WORD: Praying With Authority

1 Kings 18:19-39 (Contemporary English Version)

19Call together everyone from Israel and have them meet me on Mount Carmel. Be sure to bring along the four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah who eat at Jezebel's table.

20Ahab got everyone together, then they went to meet Elijah on Mount Carmel. 21Elijah stood in front of them and said, "How much longer will you try to have things both ways? If the LORD is God, worship him! But if Baal is God, worship him!"

The people did not say a word.

22Then Elijah continued:

I am the LORD's only prophet, but Baal has four hundred fifty prophets.

23Bring us two bulls. Baal's prophets can take one of them, kill it, and cut it into pieces. Then they can put the meat on the wood without lighting the fire. I will do the same thing with the other bull, and I won't light a fire under it either.

24The prophets of Baal will pray to their god, and I will pray to the LORD. The one who answers by starting the fire is God.

"That's a good idea," everyone agreed.

25Elijah said to Baal's prophets, "There are more of you, so you go first. Pick out a bull and get it ready, but don't light the fire. Then pray to your god."

26They chose their bull, then they got it ready and prayed to Baal all morning, asking him to start the fire. They danced around the altar and shouted, "Answer us, Baal!" But there was no answer.

27At noon, Elijah began making fun of them. "Pray louder!" he said. "Baal must be a god. Maybe he's day-dreaming or using the toilet or traveling somewhere. Or maybe he's asleep, and you have to wake him up."

28The prophets kept shouting louder and louder, and they cut themselves with swords and knives until they were bleeding. This was the way they worshiped, 29and they kept it up all afternoon. But there was no answer of any kind.

30Elijah told everyone to gather around him while he repaired the LORD's altar. 31-32Then he used twelve stones to build an altar in honor of the LORD. Each stone stood for one of the tribes of Israel, which was the name the LORD had given to their ancestor Jacob. Elijah dug a ditch around the altar, large enough to hold about thirteen quarts. 33He placed the wood on the altar, then they cut the bull into pieces and laid the meat on the wood.

He told the people, "Fill four large jars with water and pour it over the meat and the wood." After they did this, 34he told them to do it two more times. They did exactly as he said 35until finally, the water ran down the altar and filled the ditch.

36When it was time for the evening sacrifice, Elijah prayed:

Our LORD, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Now, prove that you are the God of this nation, [a] and that I, your servant, have done this at your command. 37Please answer me, so these people will know that you are the LORD God, and that you will turn their hearts back to you. [b] 38The LORD immediately sent fire, and it burned up the sacrifice, the wood, and the stones. It scorched the ground everywhere around the altar and dried up every drop of water in the ditch. 39When the crowd saw what had happened, they all bowed down and shouted, "The LORD is God! The LORD is God!"

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

God has given His children the privilege of calling upon Him for all they need, and what’s more, He’s promised to respond. He has also included the right to petition Him on behalf of others. Scripture tells us that the prayers of a righteous person can accomplish much (James 5:16).

To be righteous in the Father’s sight, we must have accepted His offer of salvation. Before redemption, we were unrighteous people under His judgment (Eph. 2:1, 3). Through faith in Christ as our Savior, we are made new and declared holy in His sight. Then, for our petitions to be powerful and effective, they must be in agreement with His will (1 John 5:14-15). Getting to know our Father’s character and priorities is the key to making requests aligned with His plan.

Elijah is a good example of someone who prayed with authority. The Lord sent him into battle against evil King Ahab and the 450 prophets of Baal. This was a spiritual conflict to prove who was the real God—Baal or the Lord of Israel. Elijah’s weapons were his knowledge of the Father’s plan and the authority he had in prayer as a prophet of God. His request, made publicly before his opponents, matched the Lord’s will—that Jehovah would make Himself known (1 Kings 18:37). And when God responded to Elijah’s prayer, the people declared, “The LORD, He is God!” (v. 39).

Are you a child of God? If so, you can pray with spiritual might by making sure your requests are in agreement with His will.

THAT'S IT I'M MOVING TO CANADA

I really love this blog http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/ and I posted something from it previously but this one right here....we can all agree it's true....because apparently a lot of white people are going to move to Canada since Obama is president.

I don't really know why...I think because he's a socialist and too liberal...or so they say....and that's just a step away from communism but....if memory serves me correctly.....Canada is slick socialist....and the rest of the European countries too....so that just shows that maybe him being a socialist isn't the problem...maybe it's because he's black. So...maybe they're just racists. Yeah that sounds about right.

HERE'S THE POST THOUGH!

#75: Threatening to Move to
Canada

Often times, white people get frustrated with the
state of their country. They do not like the President, or Congress, or the
health care system, or the illegal status of Marijuana. Whenever they are
presented with a situation that seems unreasonable to them, their first instinct
is to threaten to move to Canada.

For example, if you are watching TV with white
people and there is a piece on the news about that they do not agree with, they
are likely to declare “ok, that’s it, I’m moving to Canada.”

Though they will
never actually move to Canada, the act of declaring that they are willing to
undertake the journey is very symbolic in white culture. It shows that their
dedication to their lifestyle and beliefs are so strong, that they would
consider packing up their entire lives and moving to a country that is only
slightly different to the one they live in now.

Within white culture, it is agreed upon that if
Canada had better weather it would be a perfect place.

Being aware that this information can be used
quite easily to gain the trust of white people. Whenever they say, “I’m moving
to Canada,” you must immediately respond with “I have relatives in
Canada.”

They will then expect you to tell them about
how Canada has a perfect healthcare system, legalized everything, and no crime.
Though not true, it will reassure them that they are making the right choice by
saying they want to move there.

But be warned, they will reference you in
future conversations and possibly call on you to settle disputes about Canadian
tax rates. So use this advice only if you plan to do some basic
research.

Note: Canadian white people threaten to move to
Europe.

Note: Europeans are unable to threaten to move
anywhere.

WHATHAF?!:SLIPS TRIPS AND FALLS Part 2 "That Really Hurt" HAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I have never....ever! EVER! Laughed so hard in my life until I seen this video. Fast forward to 2:18.....mane BRUH this girl was on the ground for so long saying "Oh God! Oh OH!" Just straight up rolling!!!!!!!!! AND I'm rolling! You will too!

Like really though WHATHAF? Even I don't stand on coffee tables because for one I was raised to "GET OFF THAT COFFEE TABLE" and two coffee tables ain't stable. AND I weigh as much as a coffee cup!

Wooooooo anyways! Check the video out. So funny I had to post it!

WHATHAF?! Slips Trips and Falls

So apparently Beyonce is the new Cher/Tina Turner because all the trannies wanna be like her....or maybe like ol' boy who did her so well....

In any case....well first of all why folks wanna perform in these cramped spaces. Small closets.....treasure chests from Chuck E. Cheese.....pencil cases.....dang I mean don't yall got a living room or something?

ANYWAYS here's "When Putting a Ring on it GOES WRONG" and the real disturbing thing to me is....Doesn't he look like somebody you used to talk to?

Old School Video//Stream of Thought: MAYBE I DESERVE

As I watch this video...and as you watch it....well maybe you're gonna have to read first then watch later because humans have yet to evolve into reading watchers yet.

But I know how to pause. So here's my thoughts....on Tank's...."MAYBE I DESERVE" old school video of the dizay!

He fine and all but is that a leather ensemble. I hate leather ensembles. He old though. He grew up with Devaunte from Jodeci so that's what's hot with them folks...I guess.

I see ya with the natural video girl!

WHATHAF was that a abominable snowman vest....no shirt underneath.

And is he supposed to be out the gate or something with this Tupacesh scarf tie? Uh no...

Yo....he really is fine.

I see ya girl! Looking respectable. She got on the knee length skirt in this thang! GET IT! Modest is hottest!

Spoke too soon. Now she ain't got nothing but panty draws on....well atleast she ain't gyrating!

Ooo but her shoes are busted! BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!

Hold up now who is redbone? I'm confused now. I dont' remember this....

Aww snap I see you natural girl! Got you that white man!

Yo foreal though why Tank got on Mustafa's mane? Like I wanna know. That ain't fresh. I don't think it was back then either.

I promise...I don't care how fine my boyfriend is....if he EVER showed up around me wearing a leather set....I'd break up with him. That's just....rude to me. GOD FORBID my husband do it.....Imma just disappear for a couple of days.

MAybe this says a lot about me but....it was real "appealing" the whole "GRAB YOU BY THE NECK UNTIL YOU LET ME KNOW" part of the song. I dunno....yeah....lets not get into that. BUT ya know maybe it's because he's just fine anyway and I ain't never had nobody grab me by the neck so....I'm just....Imma just shut up! SHUT UP ME!

Back To Business: Word for the Editor

Homecoming week was something. Tiring. I can't say a success because it was whatever, but I did turn 22 years old so lets give it up one time for God! YAY FOR GOD!

But yea yea yea....I don't know who won the step show, didn't go to the comedy show, I went to the game and we did what we do best: ________(you fill in the blank) GO VOLS! And I went to 3 parties....with my camera.

Didn't get a lot of pictures oh well shoot me...but don't because it'll hurt but I got enough. Those will be posted sooner or later.

Ya know....Homecoming....it ain't fun enough unless you're white. They got all these super extra activities and....I mean I don't wanna participate in painting a banner or making up a dance routine or whatever they do BUT that's their brand of fun.

SO I'm suggesting that maybe BCPC do something MORE next year for homecoming except a comedy and step show. I don't wanna be all...."BUMP THE WHITE FOLKS" but mane it's like 99 million of them on campus here and 10 of us and....I don't care to see Shannon win Homecoming Queen because I don't know her. We don't run in the same circles. And really....Homecoming Queens ain't supposed to be wearing two piece suits....they wear gowns. I mean really....this business professional homecoming queen thing is still new to me and I've been here forever.
I NEED SOME RAZZLE DAZZLE!

I mean....ya know? Can we have a HBCU homecoming week? That would be fi! Lets plan that!

THE WORD: Racism, Prejudice, & Discrimination

I believe that this is a timely message, seeing the recent developments in America (Yay for the Obama family) and we have a lot of people of both races making racist remarks BUT lets not succumb to the....how do you say.....IGNORANCE or STUPIDITY that others toss our way.

And you know the best example of how to handle these unmerited insults comes from the Bible. So here's a post from http://www.gotquestions.org/

"What does the Bible say about racism, prejudice, and discrimination?"

The first item to understand in this discussion is that there is only one race – the human race. Caucasians, Africans, Asians, Indians, Arabs, Jews, etc., are not different races. Rather, they are different ethnicities of the human race. All human beings have the same physical characteristics (with minor variations, of course). More importantly, all human beings are created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God loves the entire world (John 3:16). Jesus laid down His life for everyone in the entire world (1 John 2:2). The “entire world” obviously includes all ethnicities of humanity.

God does not show partiality or favoritism (Deuteronomy 10:17; Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11; Ephesians 6:9), and neither should we. James 2:4 describes anyone who shows discrimination as “judges with evil thoughts.” Instead, we are to “love our neighbors as ourselves” (James 2:8). In the Old Testament, God divided humanity into two “racial” groups: Jew and Gentile. God’s intent was for the Jews to be a kingdom of priests, ministering to the Gentile nations. Instead, for the most part, the Jews became proud of their status and despised the Gentiles. Jesus Christ put an end to this, destroying the dividing wall of hostility (Ephesians 2:14). All forms of racism, prejudice, and discrimination are affronts to the work of Christ on the cross.

Jesus commands us to love each other as He loves us (John 13:34). If God is impartial, and loves us with impartiality, that means we need to love others with that same high standard. Jesus teaches at the end of Matthew 25 that whatever we do to the least of His brothers, we do to Him. If we treat a person with contempt, we are mistreating a person created in God’s image; we are hurting somebody that God loves and Jesus died for.

Racism, in varying forms and to various degrees, has been a plague on humanity for thousands of years. Brothers and sisters of all ethnicities, this should not be! To victims of racism, prejudice, and discrimination – you need to forgive. Ephesians 4:32 declares, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” No, racists do not deserve your forgiveness, but we deserved God’s forgiveness far less! To perpetrators of racism, prejudice, and discrimination – you need to repent and “present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (Romans 6:13). May Galatians 3:28 be completely realized: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

So what does that mean? Mane just ignore these folks! And you can't assume all white people are pissed...a lot of them voted for him. AND he is BI-RACIAL. I think we should all realize that he symbolizes a change in himself, a blend of the two dominate ethniticies in the United States of America. My president is not black...OUR PRESIDENT IS AMERICAN. We are all AMERICANS. OUR PRESIDENT IS BLACK OUR PRESIDENT IS WHITE!

Support him! He's here! Stop the hating! Show some love! If you ain't got nothing nice to say...GO PRAY!

Now Imma go pray because I got some hate in my heart. lol

BE EASY LOVES!

It's Official! Barack is President!

I don't know the exacts...but that doesn't matter he just won. Hopefully one of my political writers will cover this because I don't care for politics.

But congrats to Obama and everyone who voted for him. Yall did it!

Happy Election Day!

Well I know the majority of you have already voted and for Obama. That's what's up. I don't support either one of them, I'm voting for Nader if I do vote...but that's kind of a waste of time. Imma do it anyway though just so I can say "I VOTED".

But on that subject I read this wonderful article in the Daily Beacon October 30 by Amien Essif and I just wanted to post it. You can reach him @ aessif@utk.edu

Voters should not feel tied to 2-party system
by Amien Essif

If a citizen of a nation feels forced to vote for someone who does not represent him simply because the candidate has a chance at winning, then the nation is not a democracy.

This is the premise on which I am making my first choice for president of the United States. I refuse to vote for either Sen. John McCain or Sen. Barack Obama simply because it is my privilege, even my duty, as a citizen of a free country to vote for a candidate I respect, trust and agree with. Both frontrunners are tools in a two-party system that I believe works against democracy.

This November I will vote against corporate sponsorship of elections, against capital punishment, against the World Trade Organization, against mountain-top removal mining, against imperialism, against the U.S. Patriot Act, against an expansion of our bloated military, against the drug war and against the abuses of the Constitution in Guantanamo Bay prison. I will vote for universal health care, instant-runoff voting, gay marriage and a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.

The question asked of me most often is whether or not we can afford to let the Republicans win in critical times like these. My response is another question: Can we afford to accept a lesser-of-two evils in critical times like these? Can we afford to send the message that political tricks and trade-offs can pacify progressives? Can we afford to accept a mediocre plan for solving the climate crisis, the food crisis, and in the near future, a water crisis, even when the scientific community regularly concludes that anything but a radical reversal of our unsustainable lifestyles will result in mass suffering? Can we afford to attach ourselves to someone we know will fail us?

We know the answer, but still we refuse to act on what both our instincts and our intellect urge us. We refuse to accept that Obama would be a topical treatment at best for what ails our world. Far from personally attacking a man whom I’m sure has convinced himself that what he is doing is right, I am merely stating what is obvious to so many of us at this intellectual institution. War begets war, and we can have no more of it. Nuclear arms, even when in storage, are an affront to humanity, and we must stop manufacturing them. Capital punishment, detainment at Guantanamo Bay, jail time for marijuana use, and mountain-top removal mining are barbaric, and we must end these policies, not vote for them.

Yet once again we fold under the heavy blanket ceiling of the ballot booth, burdened by weighty words such as hope and change. Are we still children? Have we forgotten that we have little hope for change as long as Democrats know they can steal our support by blackmailing us with the threat of another conservative president? John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson were responsible for the Vietnam War. Sen. Joseph Biden is responsible for the war on drugs. Bill Clinton is responsible for NAFTA. So don’t be fooled. Obama will not wait long to begin reaching across the aisle for backwards, immoral policies to place on the public’s back, forcing us to carry it to high ground as an offering to the corporate giants who made him a star.

Then all the Obama pins will unclasp from the backpacks. The chalk murals of red, white and blue sunrises will wash from the sidewalk. The shirts will go into storage for 10 years until we can pull them out again and pretend that Obama was so much better than the Republican we’ll have in office then, on the other side of the political cycle that we do nothing to break.

But meanwhile, while those shirts are still newly folded and packed away, you’ll shake your head and ask, “How could we have known? What could we have done?”

The truth is that we knew the answer on Nov. 4. We saw their Web sites and their bumper stickers and we thought, well, there’s nothing to do but go along with it. And we were lying to ourselves. There are options that don’t come with disillusionment, but they are forced into obscurity or ridiculed by the system that they challenge.

Without challenging the system, though, we cannot expect an end to its byproducts like climate change and poverty. All my convictions, all my reading and all my reason urge me to vote for the Independent candidate Ralph Nader on Tuesday, and I’m proud to acquiesce.

If you feel neither Obama, McCain nor Nader represent you, choose another candidate. If you dislike the whole thing, don’t vote. Do what you think is right, not what is a little better. Go on record in future textbooks as one of the few humans alive who knew what was going on. Vote your conscience.
That's good stuff. But yeah yall vote for whoever you think is best! Deuces!

IT'S HERE! Basketball Time In Tennessee

I'm just super excited about Tennessee Basketball this year! Even if they had some wack dahs on the team I'd still be excited, I just love the game!

Anyways the first exhibition game was today....tonight and we won against the Indianapolis Greyhounds (WHATHAF?) and with a name like that....kinda expected that outcome so...we're gonna see how they do against someone else. Not saying they won by a large margin but still....

Oh yeah I ain't get to see the game well only the last half and it was all digitalized and janky looking so...yeah basically I didn't see the game. BUT I HEARD THE GAME if that counts for anything.

Yeah but ok I got the score and what not.

TENNESEE 87

Indianapolis 73

That's not too bad....14 pts....well it's bad to lose but whatever doesn't matter I didn't want them to win. TOP PERFORMERS FOR THE NIGHT!

TYLER SMITH with

14 pts

4 assists
and 3 steals

and

Brian Williams with

Way to go guys! And now I'm signing off with the hot new....old single from freshman Renaldo Woolridge aka The Answer aka Swiper Boy....one of the new Tennessee Vols, BALLER VOLS

Talented! Me Gusta!

Oh yes and the NEW GIRLS will be playing this THURSDAY (Nov 6) @ 7pm v. Carson Newman and THEN on Friday the guys play another exhibition game @ 7:30 against Tusculum.

Support your VOLS! Besides it's free to get in.
AND HOMECOMING GAME SATURDAY! Be there too! It ain't free though. Imma be there though

We're Gonna Miss You Coach Fulmer!

Even though I kinda think it's about time he gave it up, and not because of his coaching skills because I still don't totally understand what a coach does....especially a head coach with other coaches beneath him who actually tell the dudes what to do.

Is that correct? Whatever. You see I don't know. But he was just old to me and I'm not "anti-old people" but you know I'm just saying I'd quit after I got a National Championship so folks wouldn't expect me to pull another one out the hat. I'm not an overachiever you can guess.

But I don't know it just feels weird him leaving and all. It's like UT's colors being changed to Purple & Gold. I'd be really devasted then....

Yeah but ummm the question is

WHO'S GONNA REPLACE HIM?

Well the folks over at Rocky Top Talk (It's a blog listed below) says a source....or some snitch in the inner circle is saying these could be some potential replacements!

Mike Leach

(is this Texas Tech coach? Didn't they whoop on the Longhorns? Yeah lets get him...well they could've just gotten lucky. Yeah that was probably it)

Lane Kiffin

(got fired from the Oakland Raiders...why Oakland gotta professional football team? I thought that was the hood?)

Todd Graham/Gus Malzahn (he just knew "the guy from Tulsa")

(Todd is the head coach at U Tulsa...what's that Kansas...no Oklahoma...did anything good ever come from Oklahoma. What they do in Oklahoma grow wheat & corn? & Gus this dude is elusive but something about he left Arkansas. I'd leave Arkansas too. Because mane Arkansas is so wack. Not the schools but the state. Only time I go there is by accident because I forgot to take the Nashville exit and I find myself in Little Rock. I HATE ARKANSAS)

Butch Davis

(Tar Heels Coach....right? What they doing this year?)

And now I'm doing some half arsed wikipedia searches on them.........hmm interesting. NOT!

But you know....he had a good....______ years here at UT. Got his money....enough to survive the recession and the depression. As I always say. Nah I don't always say this, but Imma say it today

At least he got something to show for it. AND why yall tripping. It ain't like we lost Pat Summit. That would be something to cry about. She got a gold medal and mucho championships for TN. WOMEN PRODUCE RESULTS! GET IT PAT!

BUT MUCH LOVE TO COACH FULMER. Happy Retirement or whatever you do.

Shout out to the Basketball teams though! Do it big this year Ladies and Gents! Yall got my total support! And to the football team....sorry for your loss. Yall don't look too upset about it. It actually looked like yall were walking lighter today smiling and stuff. Triflin! HA!

I'm thru! I'm rude I need to get outta here before some Fulmer groupie starts snapping on me....and I'll snap right back!

To Vote or Not to Vote?...For Who is the Question

I hope everyone of voting age is registered to vote at of time. This is one of the most controversial, interesting presidential election in recent history. The battle between Obama vs Hillary is one for the books. Now it is Obama vs McCain.
Watching the debates should give a good indication of who to vote for. Unfortunately people do not always listen to the issues the candidates talk about. They rather look at the characteristics or personal background history to determine who can run this country, which is good in some aspects. Overall, one man can not fix this mess we are in now. But we do not want anyone that would add on to it.

Heres a video of Palin getting booed at a Hockey game. I think she uses her kids as a shield. Aint they suppose to be in school anyways? What kind of mom is she? http://www.youtube.com/v/gd4wQd_gbj8

If ask me, I think Obama has this election pretty much wrapped up.
You only need 270 electoral votes to win the election and according to recent polls, he is way and beyond 270.

WE LOST! :::sad face::: We'll Win The Next Ones!

Ok all that I know is this:

We lost against UCLA after going into overtime....and what does the Associated Press have to say?

Vols Drop Opener at UCLA in Overtime, 27-24

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) -- Quarterback Kevin Craft sparked UCLA's offense to life in the second half Monday night, and Kai Forbath kicked a 42-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Bruins to a 27-24 victory over No. 18 Tennessee, making coach Rick Neuheisel's debut a winning one.

The underdog Bruins, who took the lead with 27 seconds left in regulation, were forced into overtime when the Volunteers'
Daniel Lincoln kicked a 47-yard field goal as time expired.

But in the overtime, when neither the Bruins nor the Vols were able pick up a first down, Forbath made his kick and then Lincoln missed from 34 yards.

Craft, who threw four interceptions and totaled 66 yards in the opening half of his first game for UCLA, went 18-of-25 for 193 yards and one touchdowns in the second half without an interception.

All I gotta say is GOOD JOB! I couldn't do it, I wasn't there, sooooooo GO VOLS!

September 13th it better be going down though....that's all I'm going to say!

30 Ways to Simplify Your Life Series

#37 STOP DOING THINGS YOU DON'T DO WELL
"Do what you're good at and everything else will fall into place" ~ Willnet Crockett
"In all your ways know, recognize, & acknowledge HIM, & He will direct and make straight and plain your paths" ~ Proverbs 3:6
"Do you find yourself trying to keep up with everyone else you know when it comes to talent & ability? Ever find yourself falling short with some of those things? ANY person desiring to "simplify their life" must learn to give AT LEAST 80% of their time to their TOP 2 or 3 STRENGTHS and stop wasting time doing things they don't do well.
We are all encouraged by accomplishment; therefore, if we keep doing what makes us feel like a failure, we won't have the encouragement we need to enjoy our lives.
You don't have to do something well just because someone you know does it well. Just because you're not like someone else doesn't mean something is wrong with you. Be BOLD enough to stop doing things you don't do well and stop worrying about what other people think.
If everyone were good at all the same things, a lot of needs in this world would never be met. GOD equips each of us in different ways, and it is by working together, each with our own strengths & talents, that we accomplish HIS will."
~ Joyce Meyer "100 Ways to Simply Your Life
That's REAL! It's easy to be swayed toward wanting to be like THE JONES when it comes to talents and abilities especially when they're getting all the praise & admiration BUT you have to realize the only reason they're getting it is because THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE GOOD AT! THAT'S THE TALENT GOD GAVE THEM! Instead of trying to cultivate a talent YOU DON'T HAVE cultivate the one you do have and YOUR TALENT WILL MAKE A PLACE FOR YOU.

God has given us all special anointing and callings on our lives. Just because yours isn't in your face and "hey everybody lets look at him!" doesn't make it less valuable. It's been an observation of mine that when people start to embrace who they are and start being THE BEST THEM THEY CAN BE...that's when success comes.

So consider today what your TOP 2 or 3 strengths are and cultivate those....stop trying to dance if you have no rhythm, stop singing if you can't sing, and please stop writing these WACK POEMS AND RAPS if you can't write! GEEEEEEZZZZZZZ I'm so tired of it! lol

FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON

It's GAME DAY IN....California! I know you're all excited even if you're like me...completely ignorant of football rules, jargon, and lingo.

Never the less excitement is excitement!
Today our VOLUNTEERS will be playing against the UCLA (wild guess on the mascot) Cougars (I hope not that's such a high school mascot...) ok I was wrong totally they're Bruins (someone look that up) in California!

And yes everything below in blue is copied and pasted...from the Athletics site. I don't write about sports. Just gonna put that out there!

Tennessee-UCLA Preview

Tennessee had a rocky stop in California last year. The Volunteers hope for a smoother visit this time.

Humbled 45-31 by California in the 2007 opener at Berkeley, No. 18 Tennessee kicks off on the West Coast again, facing coach Rick Neuheisel's new-look UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl on Monday night.

"Openers are always tough, but when you have a coaching switch as UCLA did, it makes it especially tough for us," Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said. "It will be a process of adjusting and learning throughout the game. Both teams will have to adjust as the game moves along."

Vols defensive end Wes Brown likes the way the nationally televised game shapes up.

"It's going to be a heck of a lot of fun," he said. "Getting the national spotlight on Monday night football, two quality teams. It doesn't get much better than that."
Neuheisel, the former UCLA quarterback who returned to Westwood last December to replace the fired Karl Dorrell, knows the Bruins face a big test against the Vols, last year's SEC East Division champions. The Bruins slogged through a 6-7 season.

"We certainly understand the stature of their program and the challenge that lies ahead of us," Neuheisel said. "We're eager to find out where we are. We're aware we have a formidable foe in an SEC mainstay like Tennessee.

"We know we're going to have play our level best to be in the game, but that's exciting. If you choose to look at it that way, I think you give yourself a better chance of actually pulling it off."

Both teams have new offensive coordinators and new quarterbacks. Dave Clawson joined Fulmer's Tennessee staff, and Neuheisel brought in Norm Chow to oversee the Bruins' offense.

In an orderly transition, Jonathan Crompton has replaced Erik Ainge as the Vols' quarterback. In a considerably more disruptive change, third-stringer Kevin Craft became the Bruins' starter because Patrick Cowan is out for the year with a knee injury and Ben Olson will miss at least the first few games because of a foot injury.

"The unknown in this deal is how fast our offense responds to coach Chow and how fast their offense responds to their new coordinator," Neuheisel said. "And the two new quarterbacks. That will be of interest."

Craft, a juco transfer who started five games at San Diego State in 2006, got the job when Olson broke his right foot on Aug. 9.

"I was in a similar situation at San Diego State, where I was the third quarterback and three games into the season, I'm in there," he said, recalling how injuries sidelined the Aztecs' first two quarterbacks two years ago. "The first game I started was at BYU, so I know what to expect."

Craft, a 6-foot-5, 205-pounder, was mostly solid in that game against BYU, going 20-of-32 for 216 yards with one interception. The Aztecs still lost 45-17.

He may face considerably tougher working conditions than Crompton does Monday night. The Vols have five starters back on an offensive line that allowed a nation-low four sacks last season. Craft will be operating behind a group of blockers that already was short on experience and has been thinned even more by injuries.

"Guys are stepping up, not just at quarterback," Craft said. "A lot of linemen got hurt and guys stepped up. We've been moving guys around, and everybody's been improving."

Neuheisel, who had a combined 66-30 record coaching four years each at Colorado and Washington, believes the Bruins, picked to finish fifth in the Pac-10 preseason poll, may have some added motivation.

"I think this group has a little chip on its shoulder, feels like it's been cast off as also-rans," the Bruins' coach said. "I think they're anxious to show that we're more than that."

The defense, led by tackle Brigham Harwell, linebacker Reggie Carter and cornerback Alterraun Verner, figures to be the Bruins' strong suit. The offense will feature tailback Kahlil Bell, last year's leading rusher with 795 yards.

The Vols will depend heavily on Arian Foster, who ran for 1,193 yards and 12 touchdowns last year, and Lucas Taylor, who had 73 receptions for 1,000 yards and five TDs.

Tennessee's defense gets a boost with the return of safety Demetrice Morley, back after being academically ineligible for a year. Rico McCoy anchors a solid linebacking corps.

The Vols hold a 7-4-2 edge in the series, winning the most recent meeting 30-24 in Pasadena 11 years ago. Peyton Manning threw a pair of touchdown passes in the victory.
